Submit an Appeal and Check the Appeal Status
Dealers may submit an appeal for a review or survey that falls into the guidelines for removal (e.g. Consumer Affairs Buyback Case Only, Obvious Rating Error, etc.) Refer to the Appeal Process support document for reference of these guidelines. Different color flags next to the customer's name represent the appeal status. It can take up to 5 business days for a decision to be made after an appeal is submitted. Follow the steps below to appeal a review and check its status.
1. View the review that you want to appeal.
2. Click on the three dots at the bottom left corner of the screen. A pop-up list will appear, click on the "Appeal" tab to submit an appeal.
3. Once you click the "Appeal" tab. You can choose a reason for the appeal and leave comments if you wish. Click "Submit Appeal" to submit the request to SureCritic. Please allow up to 5 business days for a decision to be made.
4. Once the appeal is submitted, you can check the status in your Reviews tab. Next to the customer's name, you will see a flag icon. A yellow flag means it is still pending. A grey flag indicates that SureCritic has denied the appeal. A red flag means it is approved. If the request is approved, a little triangle with an exclamation mark will appear on the left-hand side, next to the status icons.
